Best hotel in the world to me is my home.It has everything in i need and i feel relaxed when at home.People paying a fortune to stay in a room.Not one of them rooms looked exactly something to write home about so if their the best then whats all the others like.

Whoever has selected these hotels as the top 10 is not very discerning or travelled ... there are so many much better - Banyan Tree Phukhet, Al Qasr Hotel Dubai, Landmark Hotel Yokohama, Lumley Castle Hotel England, Hotel De Paris Monte Carlo.....

Who would of thought Slovakia would come on top, i mean i'm not slating the country or anything but i've watched Hostel, that kinda scared me (even though i know its not real).....still.

It's obvious that your journalist hasn't been much - What about Burj Al Arab Dubai? Atlantis Dubai? Armani Bur Khalifa?  What about Manrina Bay Sands Singapore? Raffles?

I totally disagree. I have stayed in the Raffles in Singapore and the Shangri-La. The Hilton Garden Inn in Aberdeen??? You got to be joking. I live in Aberdeen and no way is that a world class hotel. Is this the best for the budget traveller?

Need to investigate this place for our Hogmanay celebrations, as it does feel country house ish with the wooded grounds and edge of town location.

You have not tried the Grand Hotel in Taipei. On top of a hill and grandiose. Rooms very spacious and has all what you need. But tops all this is the room service. Almost instant with a very high qua
Ity. I felt they might be just outside my door waiting for my service.

i stay there all the time taj lands end is one good beautiful  hotel. very relaxing best hotel in mumbai.

staff are very friendly & service is fantastic & the most importent very safe secure place feels like home.

best hotel 10 out of 10

Just downloaded and read a brilliant book "Marrying Slovakia" from Amazon. Now the best hotel in the world is also in Sovakia! I am definitely going to visit Slovakia this year. It sounds beautiful!
