The World Architectural Festival kicks off in Singapore today, during which a shortlist of over 300 projects in 33 categories will be judged for the grand prize. We're suckers for an amazing building, and some of these beauties are like great fireworks on display - you can only ooh and aah. Soundforms, pictured, is actually a shell intended to host open-air performances - it's meant to enhance the sound of classical and orchestral music in its London Docklands setting.
Among our favourites are an Iranian ski resort that resembles a pure white honeycomb, a round green dome that looks as if it is about to fly back to the mother ship at any moment and a house shaped like a cloud. We'd love to know your personal winner!
