Ibis might not be the first name that springs to mind when it comes to floating hotels, but their boat hotel in Göteborg is actually quite impressive. The property has recently been renovated, is located in the heart of the city's historic harbour, and is also just a stone's throw from the city's shopping district and Opera House. There are 120 rooms along with a restaurant and bar - early risers should head for the sundeck with its stunning views over the water.
