Cyclists riding through the vineyards in Loire Valley, France.
Experience nerd-vana outside the comfort of your own home.
The geeks may not have inherited the Earth just yet, but surely global domination is imminent judging by the ever-growing number of hotels seeking to cater them. Like-minded people can flaunt their love of books in public arenas and wave their finished Sudoku sheets proudly in the lobby. The Commons Hotel, which opens next month in Minneapolis is just one of many.
The hotel claims it will offer a "sense of inner geek in a chic setting" and points to the University of Minnesota as a source of inspiration. Guests will be able to sleep in a Geek Chic Suite and enjoy a range of unusual activities and amenities, including "Sudoku sleep-ins" and "tech time-outs".
Those visiting the hotel for conferences haven't been forgotten either: Jenga and spelling bee breaks will be introduced to banish boardroom boredom.
