As stunning backdrops go, the 54-hole course near the Shilin National Scenic Area, approx 75km south-east of Kunming in Yunnan Province, China, is hard to beat. The area boasts three magnificent courses, each routed around amazing rock formations. Designer Brian Curley has incorporated many of the prehistoric monolithic remnant boulders, resulting in a challenging mix of open golf areas and tricky holes located within the rocks.
