Photographer David Clifford has captured the world's most dogged runners doing what they love in the most remote and unforgiving environments.
Edinburgh, United Kingdom
The Scottish capital has a highly lucrative ghost tour business, with numerous operators taking innocent victims down into the ‘Vaults’ under the South Bridge. The caves were once slums and home to many murders, and numerous TV programmes have investigated paranormal activity down there. Real Mary King’s Close is another eerie hotspot, with rumours of plague victims being bricked up behind walls and sightings of a ghostly little girl.

I went to the skirrid inn monmouthshire (featured on most haunted many years later) It was a grey rainy evening as my mate pulled into the car park the pub looked grey and uninviting I had a cold shiver run down my spine. When I tried to open the passenger door it would not open my mate told me to stop messing as he was getting wet, He tried to open the door from the outside but he could not open it either There is nothing for it i said i will get out the drivers side
I tried that door and you guessed it i could not get out of that side either
The car had no central locking my mate tried his key in the drivers door but it would not open I climbed out of the window and of course the door opened without a key so we could close the window and lock the car my mate never had a problem with the car locking or unlocking prior or since that incident (it seemed to me someone in the spirit world did not want me to go in that pub)
