I'd go for Filey in Yorkshire, for one, and Beachy Head for another. Filey front has two levels.  One up top and the other along the front below.  There are a variety of places with quite different characters within easy reach too.  Blackpool?  Forget it!

Blackpool is a complete dump, and who wants to go on the beach when it's  -1 degrees in the summer, you cannot beat anywhere on the Southern Coast of England from Penzance right across to Bognor Regis, beautiful sandy beaches in a mild climate, fantastic.

Blackpool ?  You have to be joking, only been there once in my life, never again. I found it dirty

noisy, packed with louts, too noisy, ugh never, never again.  Give me Cornwall every time, no comparison.

What is Isla Negra? I clicked on it and was directed to facebook.  Indeed, Blackpool is a spot  "pertaining to the coast". [dictionary definition] Clever msnSick
