The seaside city has just been crowned 'best beach destination' by TripAdvisor in the UK, so perhaps it's apt that is now home to the world's largest deckchair, which weighs more than an adult elephant. According to artist Stuart Murdoch who created the 8.5 metre-high structure, it puts a smile on the face of everyone who saw it. He spent three weeks putting it together and it is "quintessentially British".
