London's streets are eerily empty after many people have shunned going out to avoid the Olympic crowds. The result may seem like a spooky prelude to a zombie film, but the lack of tourists mean that there has never been a better time to go sightseeing or try out some of the capital's more quirky delights.

Time Out
, in our opinion, is the definitive expert on all things London, and to celebrate their status at the official guide for the Games, we present 15 extracts from their book 2012 Things to Do in London. Enjoy the peace while you can!

Life is so lonely???/Love is not how much you say “I love u”, but how can you prove that is true!???!!! You need to meditate at the London Buddhist Centre 51 Roman Road, Bethnal Green. Develop a bit of independence and self respect.

The cemetery itself is quite impressive as far as cemeterys go, but unless you blag your way in, you will pay a fee at the gatehouse, I don't know how much might be.
