The world's largest superyacht is imminently about to dock in London's waters soon. At 557ft-long, costing $1 billion, it truly is something to gawp at even if boats aren't your thing. Abramovich takes no chances with his security though - the glass is bullet-proof.

The yacht has two helicopter pads, two swimming pools, 30 cabins, a disco hall and a mini-submarine.

Problem is, a lot of those rich people dont actually do anything for the money, they have never done a hard days work in their lives. I include footballers in this, after all, they only kick a ball around a field. Why should/do  they get 10 or more times that of doctors or  teachers or anyone else with a real job? They dont need it so they waste it on stupid things like this. $200 million or $1 billion? For a boat? There are millions of starving & homless people in the world, why dont they do some good with the money? Easy answer, greed.

I have one of those but unfotunately it is in dry dock what a bummer otherwise I would have gone to the  sports for one and all equally no predegist towards class distingion at tall.

Paid for by the people but enjoyed by the rich the only city that will make any money out of this is london, the money is stolen from the people and there is no return with interest for us it all goes into rich mans pockets and they then try to tell us that there was no profit and we are millions in debt london creates it and the people have to pay it.  Always is that way and always will be and they are laughing all the way to their Swiss bank account because they can do as they like and no one can do anything about it no one can stop them and say enough is enough.

OR DO THE PEOPLE OUT THERE MILLIONS OF YOU HAVE THE BACKBONE TO STAND UP AND SAY YOU WILL ROB US NO MORE AND LINE YOUR POCKETS AT OUR EXPENCE.

I could easily get one of these if I wanted! I just choose not to because I'd just feel like I was on the bandwagon, I mean it's sooooo last season having a super yacht... I'll stick with my inflatable one from a ticky tacky tourist shop I invested in from Lanzarote '98! ;)

should we be critical, green with envy or even shake our heads in disgust? well depends on which values, morality or otherwise you stand buy, I have a sense of sadness from a current world crisis point of view, acts of nature floods, famine, hurricanes etc, wars here there and every where, man made fires and Murders, i know money wouldnt fix any of them but with this amount of spare cash and power to do more [with relieving themselves of the good things in life and life style they worked for]

A conscious effort and less show boating would at least appropriate some sensitivity regardless of this special occasion dont ou think??

These people get more like the villians in a James Bond movie everyday.

We thought that it was all fiction but not anymore.

Fancy having a lovely boat like that and then having to install bullet proof glass in it.

Helicopters and subs for a quick getaway.  Just who are they scared of the authorities

or the people they have trodden on to get what they have got.
