Travelling to, from and within London is a complete 'mare even if you have lived here for years, as the transport system is such a juggling act of the tube, buses and trains.
With an extra million journeys per day predicted during the Olympics things are about to get even more confusing. The London app from Bing simply cuts through the chaos, and although it has been out on Windows phones for a while, it has has just released its version for iPhone. It gives up-to-date information on train times, delays, plus alternative routes and detailed maps for walking and driving routes.
It's easy to use and slick in design - we already circumnavigated a major meltdown on the Victoria line thanks to a perky update.
