Japan's Mount Rushmore replica was built in the 90s. It was the creation of Kenichi Ominami who was obsessed with America's Wild West and created a theme park, in which the imitation sits. While the theme park is now closed, you can still see it if you take the train from Tokyo.

i'm looking at what is purported to be a scaled doown version of our st pauls cathedral  i personally think it's meant to represent st peter's in the vatican city Rome (italy)

What about windows of the world,  in Shenzhen  in China.  There is just about every famous land mark from all over the planet. .  Its worth a look if ever you are there.

Should the caption to image 3 of the Nashville Parthenon refer to the Tennessee Centenial EXPOSITION rather than "explosion" - or did the state really blow up?
