In a city so keen on beer drinking, an athletic competition seems somewhat out of place. Not surprising, then, that the Prague Marathon - held on the 8th - is as much about the party as the race. As part of the latched-on Sport Expo you can watch pros doing Frisbee tricks, learn how to inline skate and jump like a loon on trampolines. Meanwhile, bands ranging from rock to swing orchestras line the route spurring the runners along and giving spectators earache to go with their drinks.
