Leave the Tower of London, Madame Tussauds and the other old favourites off the itinerary this weekend - it's your once a year opportunity to go snooping around buildings that are usually closed to the public. Over 700 sites open their doors as part of the Open House Weekend, with professional and volunteer guides on hand to show you around. The best bits are tours of certain buildings led by the architects who designed them in the first place.
