In her words: "Late evening light and dust helped create the atmosphere in this image, which was taken on a ranch near Santa Fe. Due to the ranch's huge area and hilly, rough terrain, the ranch's many wranglers still work in the traditional way on horseback - to round-up herds of quarter horses and cattle, and move them on to new pastures. I travelled to this area in September 2010 and felt privileged to witness a round-up in such an awe-inspiring landscape."
