World's weirdest theme parks
If Alton Towers or Disneyland Paris sound just too humdrum, there are plenty of theme parks around that cater to a taste for the flagrantly weird. Take, for instance, the new Star Trek theme park in Jordan which is about to begin construction to the tune of $1.5 billion. Until that homage to all things nerdy is built, from swimming with crocodiles to scenes from the netherworld and toilet-humour rollercoasters, here are 12 other attractions that offer a wholly different kind of ride.

I was going to ask why Gulliver World in Japan was not included but just read that it closed down a while back. That had to be the wierdest place I have ever visited. A big mock Gulliver on the slopes of Mt Fuji.
Now, how could you possibly have missed The Big Sheep? You want weird? How about live sheep races with cuddly toys strapped to them as their drivers? How about the fact that (as they proudly display on their publicity) they are apparently Europe's 51st Most Popular Theme Park?
And then, of course, we have Barometer World...you want geeky? Britain's Got Geeky....:)
I alwas thought Moomins were cows not hippos. 'Moo'mins. Makes sense to me anyway...
