A big new survey of Britain's most popular tourist attractions puts that old favourite the British Museum at the top of the list. The Tower of London, Tate Modern Museum and the Natural History museum also make the top 10.

Those are all pretty traditional attractions, but which sights do you think deserve a top ranking? We have thrown in some oddball – but, we think deserving – British marvels into the mainstream mix to make things more interesting.

Vote now for which British attractions are overrated, which merely middling and which truly magnificent.

And if that selection whets your appetite, you will want to find out what great new attractions are just emerging. MSN Travel has free tickets to give to give away to the Best of Britain & Ireland show this week, March 26 to 29, at ExCel, in London. The first 100 MSN users to visit the Best of Britain & Ireland website and enter code ATOC30K can download a free pair of tickets. Readers who miss out on a free pair can quote XL20 for a 20% discount on a double ticket (making it just £12 for two adult tickets) when they book at the event's website homepage or by calling 0871 230 5588.
