In pictures: the world’s most haunted places
Some of the spookiest places on the planet aren't at all as you'd imagine
Whether it's an Indian fortress haunted by the ghost of a cursed princess, a Japanese military HQ patrolled by undead soldiers or a Best Western (yes, you did read that correctly) stalked by the spirits of torture victims, these reputedly supernatural locations around the world will have you checking under the bed and sleeping with the lights on.
To garhsong: I quote the Commonwealth War Graves Commission: "...During its construction, approximately 13,000 prisoners of war died and were buried along the railway. An estimated 80,000 to 100,000 civilians also died in the course of the project" so, no MSN won't amend that fact about the bridge over the River Kwai.
Do people now see why veterans get so upset by the desecration of memorials to their dead comrades?
i dont belive in ghosts an eny way u cant see a ghost cause i have watched ghost hunters an dey say u cant see ghosts so da people dat say dey r real just got stroked a belter!:P
The most important fact is that ghosts are just humans who haven't passed on yet (for their own personal reasons) and if you aren't rude to them they won't be nasty or scary. One of my best friends is a ghost (yeah I sense the eye rolling and laughter- but it's true) and we have a great laugh together- she even fancies one of the teachers at my school.
This just goes to prove that if everyone swallowed their pride and we were all friends there would be no problems in the world and no one would need to be scared of other people (alive or dead).
