'The closeness to nature means a lot to me'

Who? Sara Padidar, pharmacist, originally from Aberdeen
Big differences: "There are many things I miss - fast broadband internet, takeaways, street lighting and reasonable public transport. But I do get grey monkeys stealing fruit that grows in my garden, and cows roaming aimlessly into the road."
Swaziland loves: "The closeness to nature and the peaceful, happy, vibrant nature of the Swazi people mean a lot to me. I wasn't a big meat eater in the UK, but here it tastes so good cooked over the fire and shared with good friends. The sense of community and belonging brings you such tranquility."
Favourite places: "My new home is in nine hectares (22 acres) of awe-inspiring bushland. I love watching the sun set over the mountain from my veranda each evening. Then there's the Malolotja nature reserve - a truly beautiful place; perfect for wilderness camping and hiking."
