These man-made icons are emblems for those destinations, gracing the covers of guide books and postcards the world over. They are the sights that always have the largest number of tourists flocking to see them, and yet, who visiting Paris for example, would feel that they'd really experienced the city if they couldn't say they'd seen the Eiffel Tower, crowds of tourists or not?
