Nine not-for-profit, single-cause hotels… and one tour operator
Greece has financial woes but this has made the islands highly affordable tourist destinations again. Of them, Corfu is one of the biggest and most interesting. There's enough packed in to cater for most tastes - archaeology and museums in Corfu Town, walking and mountain biking inland and floppable beaches on the coast. Those with a sense of adventure can hop on the regular ferry to Albania too - and it's even cheaper there.
Why in 2012: Easyjet is starting flights from Luton airport to Corfu on March 31 - and the increased competition should bring flight prices right down.

I totally agree with you ....but ...sorry I need a holiday !
There is a limit as to how much we need to be made to feel individually responsible for the current situation.
As for putting money into something with growth..... that doesn't happen at the moment. Interest rates are abysmal, house prices not rising etc .
So, sorry, but this weekend we're booking our holidays for the next few months.
