With the weather set to hold out for little longer, it's time to pack those tents, fill up on fuel and sausages, and head for Britain's great outdoors. Alf Alderson, contributor to the forthcoming edition of Cool Camping Britain, published by Punk publishing, chooses 10 of the best. And on second thoughts, pack your brollies and wellies just in case.

It's not Arisaif, it's Arisaig. Does anybody edit or proof read this stuff?

On your way to Cae Du why not stop off at Bishopscastle in Shropshire and camp at the Foxholes campsite on the Montgomery Road.  The views from the site are amazing, the vale of Kerry, Corndon Hill, the Stiperstones and of course the Long Mynd and finally across to Clee hill. The site is realistically priced, superbly equipped with good facilities and an eco responsible approach. Visit the site www dot foxholes-castle dot co dot uk  It's a perfect place to visit all year round!!
