Boutique shopping, fine dining and luxury living in the French capital.
Rhandirmwyn, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire
This bucolic site is surrounded by the Cambrian mountains, undoubtedly southern Britain's least-known hills, and set close to the impressive deep blue waters of Llyn Brianne reservoir, where you can walk or mountain bike all day and see only sheep and red kites. The site has excellent modern facilities and, perhaps best of all, it's out of range of mobile phones so you really do have no choice but to kick back and relax when you stay here.
Local highlight: bring your binoculars - the RSPB's Dinas Nature Reserve lies just up the valley and is home to a wide variety of birds, mammals and insects.
