Movie buffs may recognise the stunning white sand beach at Camusdarach - it was one of the locations in the 80s comedy film Local Hero. On your way to Cae Du why not stop off at Bishopscastle in Shropshire and camp at the Foxholes campsite on the Montgomery Road. The views from the site are amazing, the vale of Kerry, Corndon Hill, the Stiperstones and of course the Long Mynd and finally across to Clee hill. The site is realistically priced, superbly equipped with good facilities and an eco responsible approach.
