Sala Silvermine, Sweden
If you're considering proposing to your other half, why not pop the question 155 metres underground? The Sala silver mine closed in 1962 and now operates as a museum and concert venue. The highlight is the romantic cave suite in which visitors can spend the night. There are chandeliers, plush armchairs and a huge double bed, and guests are also provided with a radio in case of emergency - or a lovers' tiff.
