Souks

Not as cheap as you may like to imagine, but then only your deft haggling skills will determine the final price of anything. Shopping with friends is certainly the more fun option but if you're really going to drive a hard bargain it's best to shop solo as the best way to drive prices low is to turn on your heel and walk away. A polite new friend uninitiated in the art of haggling is likely to hamper your dramatic exit and become a sales target themselves as they lag behind at the stalls.
