Spain's coolest city is easily navigable in two or three days, taking in the massive market, galleries and bars in the gothic quarter. And with the weather heating up, the beach scene is starting to fizz into life. Temperatures are around the 20C mark.

Get away: return flights departing on 5 May and returning on 7 May start from £310 with Lufthansa/SWISS. The four-star Eurostars Cristal Palace starts from £266.

half of the places are going to be just as cold as here, and the other half are too expensive. will stay at home and have an indoor bbq thanks

What about a good old trip to somewhere stunining in England, Scotland or Wales.  All these country's have top hotels and stuning views and places to visit.  Why go through all the hastle of airport security e.t.c. , no long and annoying lines of people all as hot sweaty and as fed up as you.  Then when you get to your destination you have to go through the whole proces again when you have to come home.  So come on go to the Eden poject, visit a place that has spectacular views or go to one of our wonderful beaches.  Hurray for the UK !

went agidea in morrocco place to be beautiful beach people very friendly helps if you speak french weather is fab 25 degrees and the rest wish i was there now next year  hopefully
