With cartoons and crayons coming pretty much as standard, the airlines that excel go even further to keep the mini traveller entertained. Qantas offers 'family zones' on the ground (pictured), complete with toys, iMac computers and books to keep kids entertained before take-off.
Take another look inside that Virgin America Jet Set Kid Pack and you'll find dinky dolphin-shaped headphones, perfect for little ones who want to play video games and watch one of the many TV shows on the Disney and Nickelodeon channels.
If the idea of being surrounded by kids fills you with dread, Malaysia Airlines has reserved the upper deck of its new A380 economy cabin for adults only - for those who want to enjoy a kid-free zone.

My main gripe is kids on 'planes.
Bad enough if they are a few rows away but if they are on the row behind, kicking the back of the seat in front, it's an absolute nightmare. Happened to me a couple of times, yet when I nicely asked the parents to stop their kids kicking I was told I was a bully, to be nice, be kind, be patient etc.
Anyone know of any airlines that ban kids? Please let me know.
