Atlantic City has a bold commercial-led waterfront master plan - planners have sketched a neon-lit boardwalk entertainment zone to revitalise down-at-heel districts. Pedestrian streetscapes woo the youth with shops, restaurants and entertainments, while public spaces contain tourist attractions including a kinetic wind sculpture, the Midtown Concert Shell and Downbeach Light Show.
