Biljana Savic, one of WAN’s judges, reckons “the architecture is a little far-fetched” yet praises the Swedish master planning vision. Helsingborg’s neglected industrial quarter is re-imagined as a futuristic social cityscape with a canal artery to link up educational campuses and connect the city to the sea. Along the side of the canal will be restaurants and cafes where you can take in the view.
