The south-facing terrace with the hot tub is going to seem like heaven after a long day on the slopes. The chalet is cosy with a large living area and farmhouse-style dining area and fireplace. Plus, it's just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Meribel, and a two-minute drive to the slopes in the owners' minibus. Oh, and the best bit? On your first evening, there's unlimited wine, beer and champagne as the chalet comes fully catered in winter.

I had a holiday the same as this last year. Lots of snow, amazing views. cost me nothing. It was in Derbyshire in the uk
