Photographer David Clifford has captured the world's most dogged runners doing what they love in the most remote and unforgiving environments.
Furthest leaning tower
Church of Suurhusen, Germany
Thought this was an obvious one? Think again because it's not the Leaning Tower of Pisa: it's actually the Church of Suurhusen, a red brick church hidden away in a tiny German village. The church's pastor, Frank Wessels, successfully applied for the record in 2007 and since then, over 60,000 people have visited.
The tower's wonkiness is largely due to the steeple, which has a 5.1 degree tilt. The leaning tower of Pisa, by comparison, manages a paltry 3.99 degree tilt.
