How you weigh a building remains to be seen, but according to the Guinness Book of World Records, the title of Europe's heaviest building goes to Romania's Palace of the Parliament, which is also the world's most expensive administrative building.
The Palace of the Parliament contains 3,100 rooms, 200,000 square metres of woven carpets and 480 chandeliers. It is made from one million cubic metres of marble, 3,500 tonnes of crystal glass, 900,000 cubic metres of wood and 700,000 tonnes of steel and bronze.
