Lincolnshire
Speaking of defenders, another popular candidate for the dullest part of Britain isn't taking it lying down. Even if lying down is what its detractors have against it. "Lincolnshire is as flat as a pancake," says one user, adding that "there's nothing for young people to do and no job prospects, unless your dream is weighing carrots in a factory all day".
Kittenx7, who has lived in Lincolnshire all her life, "longs to move to Yorkshire", describing her current locale as "dull, boring and very flat".
Not a bit of it, retorts Machkip. "Parts of Lincolnshire are flat but there are hills and plenty of history. We go every year."
Lincs Lad replies in the same vein. "Lincolnshire Wolds is not flat" and, he points out, the county has the largest cathedral in Europe. Which presumably seems even larger against the landscape.

This is so wrong. Canada is not only beautiful and cultural, we have many amusements for children as well as adults. Toronto Vancouver Montreal and Ottawa. Ottawa has Winterlude and the longest skating rink in the world. At Winterlude you will also see ice sculptures, Jacques Cartier Park in Gatineau just across the river offers fun for the whole family. We have Niagara Falls with so much history there and lots of amusements for the kids including hotels with water parks inside. Rocky Mountains wow; take the train through the Rockies and you will see sheer beauty. Quebec City is full of culture and history and is fun for kids. Look for an outdoor oven that bakes homemade bread and maple butter artists row etc. etc. The Maritimes are exciting and very family oriented so you would find things to do.
Our country is wondeerful and I am so happy I grew up in this country with all the culture and history from coast to coast
