Photographer David Clifford has captured the world's most dogged runners doing what they love in the most remote and unforgiving environments.
Golf ball massage
Golf is a sport that attracts more than its fair share of gimmicky gifts, but this themed experience flies right off the fairway. Golf ball massage was recently introduced to the spa at Four Seasons, Troon North, Arizona, under the misleadingly innocuous title of Golf Specialty Massage.
Therapists whip out some ready-warmed balls and roll them along the muscles of the spine and neck. The massage is tailored to relax the tension caused by the golf swing. If you'd like to give it a go, but don't want to go all the way to Arizona, Scotland's Loch Lomond Golf Club Spa now offers the oddball treatment.
