Hugh Jackman, Brad Pitt, George Clooney: you can all eat your heart out. If classical history were anything to go by, you would have met your match in the Greek hero Ganymede - considered the most attractive among mortals and, as such, abducted by Zeus to be his male lover. You can see ancient Greek attempts to capture his unearthly good looks in several locations, including a famous fifth-century bell-krater - a kind of large vase - in the Louvre, Paris.
