Photographer David Clifford has captured the world's most dogged runners doing what they love in the most remote and unforgiving environments.
Royal Suite, Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Paris
What could be sexier than driving around the back streets of Paris in a Maserati with something sexy in the back seat? Staying at the Royal Suite at the city's Hôtel Plaza-Athénée, that's what. As well as getting the keys to that Maserati, guests staying in this palatial rose-flushed suite are treated to two private entrance ways, a vast double living room plus sitting room, two marble bathrooms with remote-controlled steam showers and balconies with a side view of the Eiffel Tower. There's plenty more hi-tech gadgetry on hand, including super-realistic NeoPDP plasma TVs and a digital fingerprint entry on each door of the suite.
Size matters: 450 sq metres
The damage: €20,000 (£17,000) a night
