Mirroring the Manhattan skyline, it looks like a more elegant version of London's Shard, and indeed, when it is finished in 2013, at 1,776 feet, it will be the tallest building in the western hemisphere, and the third tallest building in the world.

did you guys not learn from the first trade centre? make sure it has anti aircraft guns on the roof,

or a carbon fiber wrap shell that makes it blast proof. and better anti fire install with escape pods to get down from top quickly incase of emergency.

 

I pray that we learn not to let this s+&% happen again.

For all of you giving negative thoughts on this, please give a thought to the 3000 poor people that died in the old towers coz of SCUM, this building should be dedicated to the them and the heroes who tried saving lifes

Good idea for the terrorists not to touch this building, stick the Embassy of each Terrorist country on the top floors of this building, see if the morons strike it then

A good thing Bush and his cronies in THE PROJECT FOR THE NEW AMERICAN CENTURY ARE GONE NOW, They said they needed a new Pearl Harbour and that was in 1998, 2 years before they were elected and 3 years before the attack.  A great forecast on their part, wonder if Bush and co an tell us the European lottery numbers for tonight?

I saw the twin towers, I saw the hole in the ground afterwards and now I am looking forward to seeing the One World Trade Centre when it is finished.

Im going to state one of the thousands of facts regarding the Twin Towers :-

"Each tower was  structurally designed to withstand multiple plane craches due to the sheer height of these towers and the mass of people which day to day occupy and surround the twin towers"

 

Funnily enough one plane destroyed each tower, even under the impact sight

1WTC looks beautiful. Really looking forward to it being completed...It's a eally nice memorial of the other towers that sadly got destroyed.

Good to know that they've managed to get some plans together for this project - and only took nigh on 11 years to get this far.

I'm not sure why you are worried about another plane hitting this one. We all know the buildings were blown up from the inside and the planes were for show.

What is the ceiling height ? about 40-45ft. Very tall these americans. Why not think of the people and build it the same height UNDERGROUND. Ah ! yes, that would be like giving in, not being smart.

I am betting that the office space nearest the ground floor will be the most sought after.

The top floors will be for people with suicide tendencies or adrenalin junkies
