Hours of daylight: 10
Hours of sunshine: 6
Maximum temperature: 20C

The islands of Malta offer glorious sunny days throughout November. On the main island of Malta, the fishing town of Marsaxlokk (yes we know, it sounds like something from Star Wars) has a strong local community and is beautiful to explore in the off-peak season. The traditional luzzo boats sitting on the water make a beautiful backdrop to a lazy afternoon relaxing in the sun. Visit the Blue Lagoon on Comino, which, without the busy tourist crowds, resembles an exotic beach paradise somewhere much more far-flung than Europe.
